Our Zines

As we grow as a collective, we will be creating our own educational resources. These may be zines, collaborative pieces, critical analysis writings, and more!

This sticker was created by one of our wonderful librarians and is placed inside the cover/front of each book we have in our shared collection! The logo and sticker sheet were made by a long-time comrade of the library, J.O.

As we worked on our introduction zine, we knew we could not say everything we wanted to. We want to be able to touch on all the interconnected systems of our world, but we could only share so much…in one post. So, we set out to continue making posts about our politics, sharing analysis on theory/praxis and current events, or on connecting people to organizing (beyond mobilizing)

The mobile library existed before us. We were inspired by those in Atlanta (https://www.refaatlibrary.com/) and NYC (https://thenonbinarian.gay/). As individuals coming together we realized we had all imagined some formation of this project in recent years. We wanted to be able to situate this as part of a larger organizing, not an individual project, and this needed more defining. We had to connect education, underground/mutual aid networks away from the existing, and building new infrastructure for ourselves.

The People’s Art Zine

Along with traditional library materials, we have been bringing art supplies to local distros, encouraging folks to sit down, be in each others’ company, and engage in creative self expression. These zines feature art made by community members and comrades from May 2025-present.
